GalaxSea Cruises & Tours Company Information

Our legal business name is International Tours & Cruises of Neosho, Inc. We were incorporated in the State of Missouri in 1995. Our current business name of GalaxSea Cruises & Tours was introduced in 1996. Our store originally opened in 1981 as "Neosho Tour & Travel" by Karol Mayer. Karol was the agent in 1981 and purchased the store from the previous owner and became a franchise of International Tours in 1983. Currently Karol Mayer (Vice President), Bart Mayer (President), and Ken Mayer (Marketing Director) are the corporate officers of the company. The name "GalaxSea Cruises & Tours" is a franchise name that has since been purchased by Travel-by-us (1999). Travel-by-us is now our current "Franchise Owner" and we are under contract with Travel-by-us and retain all rights to the name usage, logo, etc. of GalaxSea. Our new affiliation with Travel-by-us is a distribution source rather than a franchise. Under this agreement, we are not obligated to conform to certain rules or restrictions from Travel-by-us. We are allowed to promote and sell the Travel Products we choose. However as you will read below, our affiliation with Travel-by-us will be very beneficial to us and to you.

Since we are independently owned, we are able to make decisions about our company’s policy and products. Our affiliation is now with Travel-by-us, who purchased International Tours, and GalaxSea Cruises & Tours in 1999. The affiliation with Travel-by-us is going to help provide us with newer technology; better training, marketing support, supplier contracts, and other business related information to benefit our local customer with better vacation products and service. We are embracing the current changes that will start to take place this year. Our website is one of those areas that will continually improve, as we are able to add the content and travel products made available from Travel-by-us.
