Onboard the cruise your room accommodations, food, entertainment, and activities are included. Coffee, water, ice tea, and juices are complimentary. Soda and alcoholic beverages are available for purchase. Other items such as spa services, shore excursions, souvenirs, and items of personal nature are also not included in your package price. *Taxes and fees are subject to change. Carnival Cruise Lines reserves the right to implement a fuel surcharge of up to $10 per person, per day, should the cost of fuel exceed $70 per barrel.
Deposit & Payments
A $100.00 per person deposit will confirm your space and is due at time of registration. A Check, Cash, Money Order or Major Credit Card can be used to make payments. Please make checks payable to GalaxSea Cruises & Tours. An additional payment of $200 per person will be due by June 15, 2010. The final payment will be due by September 1, 2010. Monthly payment plans are available. All prices are per person, based on two passengers per room. If you need a room to accommodate three or four guests, we can make those arrangements (please call quickly to reserve those types of rooms).
When is the last date to sign up?
Space is sold on a first come, first served basis. Prices are guaranteed until space is sold out or March 1, 2010 (whichever comes first). Click here for a reservation form to sign up, (please complete and mail with your payment). Initial deposit deadline is March 1, 2010.
Room Descriptions & Prices:
Inside Staterooms are located on the interior portion of the ship and will not have a window or any view. These rooms are typically 185 square feet in size and have a private bath with shower, vanity, closet, and two beds on the floor (convertible to King size bed). Rooms are located on Deck 1 (Riviera) or Deck 2 (Main)
Cruise package rates are $ 460.00 per person (Riviera Deck)
Cruise package rates are $ 475.00 per person (Main Deck, or Riviera Deck Midship)
Ocean View Staterooms are located on the outside portion of the ship and will have a picture size window (3x4 feet). These rooms are approximately 200 square feet and have a private bath with shower, vanity, closet, sitting area, and two beds on the floor (convertible to King Size Bed). These rooms are located on Deck 1 (Riviera ) or Deck 2 (Main)
Cruise package rates are $ 545.00 per person (Riviera Deck)
Cruise package rates are $ 555.00 per person (Main Deck, or Riviera Deck Midship)
Balcony Staterooms are located on the outside portion of the ship and each room has your own private balcony. These rooms are typically 190 square feet with a balcony of 40 square feet. The balcony is usually accessed by a full size sliding glass door. Each balcony has two chairs and a table. The room has a private bath with shower, vanity, closet, sitting area, and two beds on the floor (convertible to King size bed). These rooms are located on Deck 6 (Upper) or Deck 7 (Empress)

Package rates are per person, based on double occupancy (two to a room). Some rooms are available to accommodate three or four guests, please call GalaxSea Cruises for these room prices.
What’s NOT included? There are a few items not included in our package. They are: Trip protection insurance; cruise gratuities; meals while off the ship; shipboard soft drinks or alcoholic beverages; and any other shipboard purchase, including land tours, and any items of personal nature. Carnival reserves the right to implement a fuel surcharge of up to $10 per person, per day, in the event fuel costs more than $70 per barrel.
Trip Protection Insurance: A comprehensive travel insurance plan can be purchased to protect you and your vacation. This policy includes cancellation and interruption coverage, baggage coverage, medical coverage, and emergency travel assistance. The insurance rates start $49 per person and are based on your total trip cost. It is suggested that you purchase the insurance policy with initial deposit, but no later than the final payment date. See the Consumer Terms & Conditions page for details regarding the travel insurance. Cruise Gratuities – Cruise gratuities are not included in your package rate. Gratuities for this cruise are $50.00 per person. You can pay these gratuities upfront with your package payments. These “pre-paid” gratuities will cover your Room Steward, Dining Room Waiter, Assistant Waiter, and the lido deck restaurant. Gratuities to the Maitre‘d are paid onboard the ship. The payment for the pre-paid gratuities can be made with your final payment. You can pay these gratuities onboard the ship if you prefer.
Additional Package Options & Suggestions:
Pre Cruise Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana – Enjoy some extra time in the Big Easy. I will offer a “pre-cruise” hotel stay in New Orleans. This pre-cruise package will allow you the choice of (1) or (2) nights in the city before the cruise. The Drury Inn package is normally about $120 per night and includes parking while you are on the cruise, breakfast is also included. Room taxes are additional, and you have to pay parking during your hotel stay ($15 per day). Parking during the cruise is complimentary at the Drury Inn.
Air transportation – If you would like to fly into New Orleans for this cruise, please indicate that on your reservation form. I can’t give you a price at this time, but we will put together an air package for anyone requesting flights. All flights come into New Orleans, and a transfer from the airport to the hotel (or ship) takes about 30 minutes. Information regarding our package will be announced by mid spring 2010. Please indicate that you prefer air transportation, and list your home air city on the reservation form.
Travel Insurance – Insurance is so important. There are many stories about people who have lost money because they did not purchase travel insurance. The cost of the insurance is very minimal compared to your vacation. The reason we recommend insurance is because cancellation penalties will apply if you should cancel. Travel insurance rates begin at $49 per person and the total premium is based on your total trip cost.
Cancellation Penalties – Cancellation penalties will go into effect September 1, 2010. A full description of cancellation penalties are listed on the Consumer Disclosure Notice. For this reason we recommend travel insurance.
Deposits & Payments – Your initial deposit of $100 per person will confirm your space and guarantee your rate. You can pay a $300.00 per person deposit, and secure your specific room assignment onboard the ship. Additional payments will be due in June and September, 2010. If you are purchasing air transportation, those payments will be due later and rates will be announced by mid-Spring 2010. Monthly payment plans are available, please call for details. Final payment will be due no later than September 1, 2010.
Consumer Terms & Conditions
GalaxSea Cruises & Tours, and any other entity associated with this cruise package is acting as a mere agent for the cruise supplier in selling travel-related services, or in accepting reservations or booking for services that are not directly supplied by these parties. These parties, therefore, shall not be responsible for breach of contract or any intentional careless actions or omissions on part of such suppliers, which result in any loss, damage, delay, or injury to you or your companions or group members. Unless the term "guaranteed" is specifically stated in schedule, or handling of personal effects. These parties shall not be responsible for any injuries, damages or losses caused to any traveler in connection with terrorist activities, social or labor unrest, mechanical or construction failures or difficulties, diseases, local laws, climatic conditions, abnormal conditions or developments, or any other actions, omissions, or conditions outside of their control. These parties are not responsible for cancellation of any service/s and or refunds from any supplier or carrier that may cease operations. Traveler is hereby warned of the above risks as well as possible travel industry bankruptcies and medical and climatic disruptions, and is advised to obtain appropriate insurance coverage against them. Traveler's retention of tickets, reservations, or bookings after issuance shall constitute consent to the above and an agreement on his/her part and is expected to convey the contents hereto to his/her travel companions or group members.

Travel Protection Insurance
Travel Insurance is the most overlooked travel purchase. Cancellation fees are charged regardless of your reason to cancel. The comprehensive travel insurance plan is offered from GalaxSea Cruises & Tours will help protect you and your vacation investment. Our discounted group plan includes cancellation coverage, baggage coverage, and medical coverage. To purchase this insurance plan your premium should be paid no later than the final payment date (September 1, 2010). Your policy does not go into effect until your premium is paid.
