The good stuff:  This is an Oasis Class ship with Royal Caribbean.  She was built in 2010, so it’s not a new ship, but it’s still in excellent shape and has many features not found on other ships.  While this list is short, here’s some details:  Currently the largest size class of cruise ship in the world; there are many entertainment venues, including Broadway show (Mamma Mia), ice skating show, aqua theatre, comedy club, jazz club, and much more; several specialty restaurant choices, including Italian, Steakhouse, Japanese, Mexican, a Johnny Rockets (while these cost extra, they’re worth the extra costs); activities like a zip line; FlowRider (surf simulation); miniature golf, rock climbing wall; and I have to say this ship is extremely family friendly, but also very couple friendly.  The link to ship details above should help explain more of this in detail, but if you need more scoop – please reach out to me.

The not so good:  This is a huge ship, and with that comes a lot of travelers.  At full capacity this ship can hold 6,780 guests.  The ports you stop at are good, but they are also ports that many past cruisers have visited.  In the world of Caribbean cruises, this itinerary is less-sexy in my opinion, but it’s the only ports that can accommodate this size of ship.  The extra costs onboard are there, and while you can elect to not take those, they are worth spending the extra.  The specialty restaurants are excellent and worth the extra costs, but you can eat for free in the main dining room.
